Usually the existing borrower of a bank who is about 2 or more years into his loan tenure does not get the benefit of reducing interest rates in the market. Investors need more information to make “an informed vote” on three shareholder proposals and the re-election of Richard Davidson and Burns Harris to the board of directors at the meeting planned for June 8, said the motion filed in U.S. District Court in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Reuters reported on April 18 that McClendon had arranged loans totaling 1.1 billion where his interest in thousands of wells granted as a corporate perk were put up as collateral.

The bulk of the loans were made by EIG Global Energy Partners, an investment firm that also provides significant amounts of funding to Chesapeake. Both situations could put McClendon’s interests at odds with shareholders, analysts and academics said.

Since the Reuters investigation, Chesapeake and McClendon have expanded their disclosures about his well interests and the program that grants him 2.5 percent of every well the company drills.

CAE Inc. CAE-T is expanding its global flight training capabilities and entering the pilot outsourcing business by acquiring Oxford Aviation Academy and a subsidiary for $314-million.

The Montreal-based company said Wednesday the addition of seven training centres will increase its global network to 42 sites that will train civil aviation pilots, cabin crew and maintenance personnel.

The leading manufacturer of flight simulators will also add 40 simulator units bringing their total to 211.

The addition of four flight schools will increase its training capacity by 67 per cent to 1,500 cadets annually at 12 locations around the world.

Oxford’s training facilities are located in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and the U.K., and its academies are in Britain, the U.S., Australia and Hong Kong.

The new orders sub-index climbed to 55.1 in March from February’s 51 points, the National Bureau of Statistics said, while the sub-index for new export orders was up at 51.9, compared with February’s 51.1.

Kira Reed was woozy from local anesthesia for her cesarean-section delivery, but she knew something was wrong.

She was lying in the operating room at Crouse Hospital on March 12, 2010. Her doctor had made the incision.

I could not come up with the word for what I was smelling, Reed said in a recent interview. It did not smell like anything recognizable.

She figured it out and got out the words: I smell something burning. The doctor and nurses told her she had nothing to worry about, Reed said.

I see the smoke, said Reeds mother, who was sitting beside her for emotional support. The obstetrician performing the operation, Dr. Stephen Brown, suddenly saw a small flame on Kira Reeds left side.

Shes right, Brown said, according to Reed.
